The Mill at Freedom Falls was built
in 1834 as a grist mill serving
the surrounding community. It was converted to a turning mill in
1907 and abandoned by 1967.
In 2012 the Mill at Freedom Falls
was entered in the Register of
Historic Places. The restored Mill houses a school, offices, and
a farm-to-table restaurant.
