The American Boathouse was previously
renovated in 1981 by Cold Mountain
Builders and subsequently placed on the
National Register of Historic Places
in 1982.
The interpretive panel, shown at left, was developed and designed to provide visitors to this busy waterfront site with historical context for the building in addition to the rehabilitation process.
